The short version
Venclikovi.com is a family-run site. We write about VPNs, streaming, travel and the tech we actually use. To keep the site free, we use affiliate links.
Here’s what that means: if you click one of our links and buy something, the merchant pays us a commission. You never pay more because of it. The price is exactly what you’d pay going to the merchant directly — and in many cases our links carry a discount you wouldn’t get otherwise.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR Part 255, Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link carries a tracking ID that tells the merchant you came from us. If you buy, we get a pre-agreed commission — usually a percentage of the sale or a flat fee.
That commission comes out of the merchant’s marketing budget. It’s not added to your price, and it doesn’t change the terms you get on their end.
Which links are affiliate links
Articles containing affiliate links are labeled at the top of the page. We also use affiliate links in our navigation menu, in the VPN and Travel Deals sections, and in some banners.
We work with merchants directly and through affiliate networks. The main ones:
- Stay22 (Booking, Expedia, Agoda, Hotels.com, Tripadvisor, Momondo)
- CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction)
- Impact
- Awin
- GetYourGuide
- Direct programs including NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN, Proton VPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, IPVanish, Saily, Kiwi.com, eSky, CheapOair and Condor
This list changes over time as our coverage changes.
How this affects what we write
This is the part that matters most, so we’re not going to dance around it.
Commission does not determine rankings. When we rank the best VPN for a country or the best hotels near a venue, the order comes from testing and research — not from who pays the most.
We write about what doesn’t work. If a service underperforms in testing, we say so, even when we earn from it. A review where nothing is wrong isn’t a review.
We test what we can. VPN speeds are measured on our own hardware from real locations. Hotels and destinations are rated from places we’ve actually stayed. When we haven’t tested something personally and are working from public data or other people’s experiences, we say so in the article.
We recommend things we earn nothing from. If the best answer is a service with no affiliate program, that’s still the answer we give.
We know the affiliate model creates pressure to write positively. We treat that as something to actively manage, not something that takes care of itself.
Prices, deals and availability
Prices, discount percentages and promotional terms reflect what we saw when the article was written or last updated. Merchants change them constantly and without notice.
The price and terms you see at checkout are the ones that apply. Please verify them before you complete a purchase. We’re not responsible for changes made on the merchant’s end.
VPNs, streaming and geo-restrictions
A lot of our content covers accessing services from other countries. A few things you should know:
Using a VPN is legal in most countries, but not all. Some jurisdictions restrict or ban them, and it’s your responsibility to know the rules where you are.
Accessing a streaming service from outside its licensed region may violate that service’s terms of use, even where it isn’t illegal. Platforms can suspend or terminate accounts for it.
We publish this information so you can make informed decisions. We don’t encourage piracy, and we don’t support accessing content you haven’t paid for. Nothing here is legal advice.
Financial products
Some of our content covers investing platforms, including eToro.
We are not financial advisors, brokers or registered investment professionals. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or an offer of any financial product.
Investing carries risk, including the risk of losing your entire investment. Past performance doesn’t predict future results. Read the provider’s terms and risk disclosures, and consider talking to a licensed professional before you commit money.
Cookies and your privacy
Clicking an affiliate link typically means the merchant or affiliate network stores a cookie in your browser so they can attribute the sale to us. That cookie is set by the third party, not by us.
We don’t receive your personal information from these merchants — we see aggregate sales data only. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Sponsored content
We don’t publish paid guest posts, sponsored reviews or link placements disguised as editorial. If that ever changes, any such content will be clearly labeled as sponsored — separately from and in addition to this affiliate disclosure.
